Drive companywide EHSS initiatives as a technical resource to TWG management and staff.  Assist plant management and staff in creating accountability for health, safety, and security program responsibilities by conducting program and facility audits, fostering peer to peer interaction and involvement, and assisting in the development and rollout of policies and training.  *Willing to relocate the right candidate!*


  • Serve as a technical EHSS resource to all TWG personnel
  • Proactively identify and interpret new and existing laws, rules, and regulations applicable to the company and recommend the most appropriate compliance strategy
  • Help design and launch programs/procedures for facility leadership to identify, evaluate and control safety, health, and security hazards
  • Manage the TWG ergonomics program
  • Increase communication between sites and at all levels of the organization regarding safety and security measures and their importance
  • Recognize, understand and interpret how laws and regulations enacted by State, Local, and Federal Agencies will affect the company and recommend plans that are cost and time efficient and effective to lawfully satisfy the company’s obligations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs that fit the specific needs of both regulatory/security requirements and the target audience
  • Evaluate the most appropriate solution to problems and challenges, either well defined by regulation, or creative and non-traditional, and provide proper follow through to ensure the solution is completed in an effective and timely manner
  • Drive plant management to instill a culture of safe behaviors at all facilities with support of corporate EHSS group.
  • Participate in government or private committees that will allow the company to have appropriate representation with governmental and industry groups in the process of formulating balanced laws and regulations affecting health and safety issues
  • Primary company liaison with OSHA/CalOSHA including representing the company during regulatory investigations and audits
  • Work cooperatively with other corporate groups, including Human Resources and Legal to guide and manage risk assessment programs
  • Manage industrial hygiene monitoring
  • The employee is expected to be onsite at one or more of the company’s facilities every day

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • 5+ years overseeing Safety program management in a manufacturing setting
  • Working knowledge of general industry and construction safety and health standards (OSHA, Cal-OSHA)
  • Familiarity with EPA, DHS, NFPA, ANSI and other regulatory/advisory agencies
  • Experience in managing projects, planning, and driving efficient meetings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Prior experience with implementing regulatory standards in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with implementing site security programs preferred
  • Prior experience with accident investigation/root cause analysis
  • Skilled in the use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an intermediate level
  • Must be able to read, fully comprehend, and implement requirements of laws, regulations, and technical documents
  • Skilled in effectively communicating in oral and written form with all internal and external individuals
  • Support and model all company procedures and policies

  • Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or willingness to pursue - Desired
  • Bilingual (Spanish) – Desired


  • The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • The employee must be able lift and carry up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies
  • Working environment has exposure to both indoors and outdoors and related warehouse/production equipment and associated noise levels
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in the performance of various tasks in the warehouse/production environment
  • Must be able to travel to all TWG facilities, including NY and Australia
  • Expected travel up to 50% of working days
